Teachers (1 x full time and 1 x part time (0.6) )
We have two vacancies, one for a full time class teacher and one for a part time (0.6) class teacher, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for experienced, caring, enthusiastic and energetic individuals and are keen to hear from teachers in primary and secondary mainstream education who are considering a move into special educational needs as well as those currently working in special schools. We will consider job share applications (two part time applicants for the full time role).
Classroom Assistants/Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants either full time (30 hours) or part time (from 18 hours / 3 days a week) starting as soon as possible. These posts offer interesting and rewarding opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and energetic people who ideally have experience of working with children. The salary is on Local Government rate Scale 6 (point 8 to 13); starting salary £20 852 pro rata (hourly rate from £10.62 to £11.73). Hours are 9.00 am – 3.30 pm (primary/nursery) or 8.50 am to 3.20 pm (secondary).
We are looking for an office Administrative Assisstant, the post is an interesting, busy and varied role which involves a wide range of tasks and activities to assist in the efficient running of the school office and the school in general. The post requires good office and IT skills, excellent communication and a strong ethos of team working. The Administrative Assistant will support the Office Manager in achieving all aspects of the above office duties.
The role require high levels of accuracy to ensure legal compliance with the administration of our children’s records. Excellent interpersonal skills are key, as you will be the face of our school supporting parents and visitors. You will need to be flexible and have the ability to work to deadline with a variety of tasks.
The Administrative Assistant post is for 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, term time only.
Salary: Grade 7, spinal point 13 to 17, £11.93 - £12.92 hourly rate; £23,023 - £24,920 pro rata. The school will consider job share and part time working for this role.
Site Manager (from April 2022)
Our Site Manager is retiring in May so we are looking to recruit now to be able to fully handover the role. If you have experience in the field of maintenance, or an associated trade, and wish to work in an incredibly rewarding environment then this could be the place for you. We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual who can support us by managing our school site thus providing our pupils, staff and visitors with a safe, secure and pleasant working environment.
The post is full time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, 27 days annual leave.
Salary: Grade 7, spinal point 13 to 17, £11.93 - £12.92 hourly rate; £24,882 - £26,940 actual salary.
