To keep everyone safe we have decided to close the school today due to the predicted storms and high winds.

The acting headteacher has contacted all parents to explain our school is surrounded by trees, many of which are old and the caretaker has confirmed branches are being shed from them.  We don't want to risk injury to the children from debris, also many of the children travel from areas that are a distance from the school and the Met Office advice is not to travel.  The safety of the children is at the centre of this decision making process.
