...where every child is a valued individual

BISHOPSWOOD SCHOOL is a successful, family orientated and rapidly growing special school that provides specialist education for children aged 2-16 years with severe or profound learning difficulties, including those with complex needs and/or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Bishopswood has an inclusive ethos and benefits from being co-located with mainstream schools on 3 sites.

Our catchment area serves the towns and surrounding villages of South East Oxfordshire including Benson, Cholsey, Chalgrove, Goring, Henley on Thames, Sonning Common, Wallingford, Watlington and Woodcote. We also receive pupils from neighbouring authorities such as Reading, Wokingham, Buckinghamshire and Windsor and Maidenhead.

As a school, we are deeply committed to inclusion and provide all our pupils with inclusion opportunities throughout their school career.
Bishopswood is held in high regard by the Local Authority and we have been assured our long term future is secure.
