Teachers (1 x full time and 1 x part time (0.6) )
We have two vacancies, one for a full time class teacher and one for a part time (0.6) class teacher, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for experienced, caring, enthusiastic and energetic individuals and are keen to hear from teachers in primary and secondary mainstream education who are considering a move into special educational needs as well as those currently working in special schools. We will consider job share applications (eg two part time applicants for the full time role).
The school actively encourages progression towards leadership and continuing professional development (CPD) is provided. Salary: TMS/UPS dependent on experience, plus 1 SEN point (£2,209).
Classroom Assistant/Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant either full time (30 hours) or part time from 18 hours a week (3 to 5 days a week), term time only, starting as soon as possible. These posts offer interesting and rewarding opportunities for caring, enthusiastic and energetic people who ideally have experience of working with children, but no experience is necessary as full training will be provided with continuing professional development (CPD) for specialised areas including HLTA. Hours (term time only) are 9.00 am – 3.30 pm (primary) or 8.50 am to 3.20 pm (secondary).
The salary is on Local Government rate Scale 6 (point 8 to 13); starting salary £20852 to £23023 pro rata (hourly rate from £10.62 to £11.73).
Office Administrative Assistant
As part of the office team, the Administrative Assistant post is an interesting, busy and varied role which involves a wide range of tasks and activities to assist in the efficient running of the school office and the school in general. The post requires good office and IT skills, excellent personal, communication and teamwork skills, a flexible approach and an interest in supporting the headteacher and classroom staff to meet the needs of the children and their parents.
The Administrative Assistant post is for 37 hours per week, 5 days a week, term time only. We will consider part time / job share for this role.
Salary: Grade 7, spinal point 13 to 17, £11.93 - £12.92 hourly rate; £23,023 - £24,920 pro rata.
Our Site Manager is retiring in May so we are looking to recruit now to be able to fully handover the role. If you have experience in the field of maintenance, or an associated trade, and wish to work in an incredibly rewarding environment then this could be the place for you. We are looking for a reliable and dependable individual who can support us by managing our school site thus providing our pupils, staff and visitors with a safe, secure and pleasant working environment.
The post is full time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, 27 days annual leave.
Salary: Grade 7, spinal point 13 to 17, £11.93 - £12.92 hourly rate; £24,882 - £26,940 actual salary.
