Lisa Goodenough - Chair of Governors
Lisa Goodenough
Lisa is an experienced lawyer with two decades of expertise, specialising in corporate and commercial law within the telecom and technology sectors. With a strong track record of leadership and governance, Lisa currently serves as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for an international company, overseeing all legal and compliance matters across the organisation. In addition to this, Lisa has extensive experience as a director and company secretary, providing strategic guidance and ensuring adherence to governance standards.
Passionate about creating meaningful change, Lisa is deeply committed to advocating for inclusive and equitable educational opportunities, particularly for children with special educational needs and disabilities. This dedication reflects a broader commitment to improving both the quality of education and the care provided to students, and Lisa looks forward to collaborating with the school and the governing board to continue advancing these goals.
James Baker - Community Governor

James Baker
James has been teaching in schools for over ten years. He is a mathematics specialist and has taught across the state and private sectors leading curriculum and assessment design with great success. Currently he is Senior Deputy Head and Designated Safeguarding Lead at The Oratory Prep School near Goring. He believes that all children should have access to outstanding learning opportunities and pastoral care.
Majella Delaney - Vice Chair of Governors

Majella Delaney
Majella is a qualified primary school teacher who taught in Ireland for seven years before moving to London to gain more experience and challenge herself in her field. She has taught in a range of urban and rural schools in both mainstream and special education. She is also a qualified SENCo and has completed the National Professional Qualification for senior leaders and has a range of experience in middle and senior leader positions. Before joining Meath school, she was Vice Principal for Inclusion in a large mainstream school with specialist resource provision for Speech, language and communication which gained accreditation as a centre of excellence for Inclusion and is currently a flagship school for inclusion. She joined Meath in September 2020 as Deputy Headteacher and was appointed Principal in October 2022.
Suzanne Robson - Community Governor

Suzanne Robson
Suzanne is an experienced and qualified HR Director. She had a career of over 30 years in the commercial, charity and public sectors working as an HR professional in Retail, Hospitality, Social care, and Education. Most recently she worked for an organisation that owned and managed a wide range of independent schools all focusing on education and care for those with additional needs. She has also worked at a large independent co-Ed boarding school and for multi academy trust that operated schools for pupils with Autism. Suzanne has lived in the Reading area for the last 40 years. Having worked with school supporting those with additional needs Suzanne was keen to become a governor in a similar environment . She was appointed a governor in spring 2024.
Gurav Gupta - Community Governor
Gurav Gupta
Gurav is a computer science engineer and senior digital transformation leader. Originally from India, he moved to the UK 19 years ago and now works in technology consulting, helping organisations improve the services people use every day, and increasingly making practical, responsible use of data and AI. He recently completed an executive programme in AI-driven business transformation at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Gurav is also a proud dad of two young children, so he understands the realities families juggle. He’s passionate about ensuring every child feels safe, supported and able to thrive, especially pupils with SEND – and works with school leaders and fellow governors to strengthen inclusion and equity. He brings a blend of tech, strategy and governance experience to help the school ask the right questions, use data well, understand risk and turn priorities into practical improvements for pupils, families and staff.
Tamika Hewitt - Community Governor
Tamika Hewitt
Tamika Hewitt is an experienced Account Executive for a large international technology company , where she partners with financial institutions to deliver data and AI-driven solutions for business growth and innovation. Alongside this, Tamika serves as Head of Strategy at the Cacumator Mentorship charity, which empowers young African girls to access education, embrace STEM careers, and develop confidence and purpose through AI and technology initiatives.
She brings extensive expertise from the technology and finance sectors, as well as a passion for the transformative power of education and technology. Tamika is committed to supporting the school’s vision and looks forward to contributing her strategic insight and collaborative approach to the Governing Board, with a particular interest in data, innovation, and inclusive community engagement.
Supriya Basak - Community Governor
Supriya Baska
Supriya is a Senior Solution Consultant in the IT Telecom technology sector and a parent of two pupils currently attending the school. He brings a strong understanding of digital transformation, data security, and organisational efficiency.

Stephanie Glynn
My name is Steph and I am a Parent Governor at Bishopswood School, with a strong interest in supporting high standards of education and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. As a parent, I am keen to contribute a balanced perspective that reflects both the needs of families and the wider school community.
I bring a thoughtful and collaborative approach to the role, with a focus on accountability, continuous improvement and positive relationships between parents, staff and governors. I am particularly interested in how schools can support pupil wellbeing alongside academic achievement.
Outside of my governor role, I value community involvement and believe strongly in the importance of creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to do their best.
