Bishopswood School is involved in a project with a special school called Zespol in Poland.  To find out more, please click below:

Pupils and staff from Zespol Special School in Poland came to visit us recently.

They came into some of the classes in the primary and secondary department and they came bearing gifts - gingerbread cookies. They joined in with a variety of maths lessons such as Numicon, making 3D Christmas decorations, playing the piano and making vegan porridge. Some of them also came with us to Sonning Common's Christingle Service and were given Christingles, as were our pupils, to take home.

They joined in with our Christmas Fayre where they enjoyed taste testing marmite and English mustard from the gift packs we gave them. Oddly, not many of them liked the marmite!  They definitely preferred trying out English scones and ginger cake in the tea room and they loved the teddies with the British flag on his tummy.

Tweedy the Clown from Gifford's circus visited the school much to the huge enjoyment of staff and pupils.

Secondary Pupils from Bishopswood enjoyed a fantastic trip to Disneyland, Paris this term.

Our pupils had a fantastic time celebrating and learning Indian dance moves in a very successful workshop.

Ceebies Something Special in Lapland
